
Dr. Young Kwak
Biography
Dr. Young Kwak is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he is proud of his South Korean heritage and values the diverse experiences that have shaped his journey. Dr. Kwak completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and pursued dermatology residency at the University of Alabama. He went on to complete specialized fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Kwak’s clinical focus includes skin cancer surgery, medical dermatology, and patient-centered procedural care. Known for his calm demeanor and attention to detail, he prioritizes both precision and patient comfort in every treatment.
When he’s not in clinic, Dr. Kwak enjoys rock climbing, surfing, and adventuring outdoors with his kids. He also has a passion for hands-on projects like 3D printing, building computers, and restoring cars—anything that blends creativity with craftsmanship.
