
Dr. Sandy Kuo
Biography
Dr. Sandy Kuo is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was also a member of the Cal Dance Team. She went on to receive her medical degree from Chicago Medical School, graduating at the top of her class and earning the Glasgow-Rubin Certificate of Commendation for Academic Achievement from the American Medical Women’s Association.
Returning to California, Dr. Kuo completed her internal medicine internship at Olive View-UCLA and dermatology residency at UC Davis, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and maintains a strong interest in skin cancer management, inflammatory skin conditions, and aesthetic dermatology.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Kuo is a proud mom to two boys and an energetic Australian shepherd. She enjoys cheering on the Cal Bears, taking barre and Pilates classes, and discovering new dessert spots with her husband.
